We cordially invite you to participate in the scientific meeting entitled “Colorectal Cancer: Progress and Prospects”, which is organized by the Hellenic Society of Gastrointestinal Oncology, and the University of Mainz, I Department of Internal Medicine Johannes-Gutenberg, Germany, under the auspices of the Hellenic Society of Gastroenterology, and the Hellenic Society of Medical Oncology. The congress is labeled by the European Society of Digestive Oncology as a “Supported Meeting”. It will take place in Athens, Hotel Royal Olympic, on Saturday 19 and Sunday 20, May 2018.

The aim of the congress is to discuss the latest developments concerning the aetiopathogenesis, diagnosis, and therapeutic modalities applied in this probably most important malignant disorder of the digestive system. We believe that continuous learning is a mutual life-time process. In this regard we expect the exchange of knowledge between the speakers and the audience to become extremely useful for both parts, thus making the diagnosis and treatment of colorectal cancer more effective and up-to-date.
