11th International Congress of Internal Medicine-Αλλαγή ημερομηνιών Εκτύπωση

Since our last e-mail on March 16th and in light of the continuing escalation of the COVID-19 pandemic the Organizing Committee of the 11th International Congress of Internal Medicine has decided to postpone the congress for the next year on July 4-6, 2021.

The postponement was based on multiple factors, including the travel restrictions in many countries, and, most importantly, the toll currently being placed on our health care community. On a social level, all countries have cancelled meetings and group activities for the next couple of months.

We would like to thank all of our congress delegates, invited faculty members and supporters for their cooperation and understanding during this extraordinary and difficult time.

The scientific program will not include any changes.

However we wish to open the abstract submission form and welcome more and new delegates if interested to submit their research (New deadline January 2021).

Delegates who wish to cancel their registration will honour a full refund of their fees and they will be soon contacted by the General Secretary for more information.

We want to express our gratitude and admiration to all health care professionals working in incredibly difficult circumstances to contain this outbreak and prevent further loss of life.

We understand that this decision will inconvenience many of you but we hope it will be worth the wait and look forward to a successful and meaningful event for all of us next year in the beautiful city of Athens, Greece.

On behalf of the Organizing Committee
